Community Health Connections (CHC) is a multi-site, non-profit health care center offering urgent care, primary family medical and pediatric care, preventative and restorative dental care, oral surgery, behavioral health services for children and adults, and substance use disorder treatment, and specialty services including optometry eye care, optical shop, acupuncture, nutrition consultations and podiatry. CHC is mission-driven, providing compassionate, quality health care regardless of income or health insurance status. CHC has five sites within Fitchburg, Gardner and Leominster with decades of experience as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), serving 36 communities in North Central Massachusetts. The Primary Care Manager provides direct supervision to the Medical Division and Primary Care administrative support staff and provides support to departmental leadership and providers at all CHC sites. The responsibilities of the position include managing payroll, performing performance reviews for support staff, problem solving operational concerns, and assistance and/or lead role with special projects. The position requires the individual to be flexible, detail oriented, organized and consistent, with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Major responsibilities: * Recruiting, training and direct supervision of administrative staff. Ensuring that all administrative functions have proper coverage for optimal operational functioning. * Lead process improvement projects, including gathering and reporting data as needed. Act as a representative of the department both internally and externally on behalf of the Director of Operations. * Manage payroll, performance reviews for support staff. * Ensure that all departmental staff and all functions completed with excellent care and high efficiency. * Order supplies and equipment for the department. * Build and maintain provider EHR scheduling templates. Day to day oversight of scheduling to ensure maximizing of provider schedules. * Maintenance of division documents such as procedure lists, call schedules, and time off calendars. * Work closely with the clinical leadership to accomplish goals and objectives. * Assist with gathering, formulating and organizing grant related materials. * Create and maintain department policies and procedures and ensure distribution to staff. * Demonstrate understanding and commitment of the health center mission * Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards * Perform other related duties as assigned.
