You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing heavy and highway civil estimating, focused primarily on mass earthwork, building excavationbackfill, shoreline reconstruction, and site utilities for clients ranging from large, National GCs and government agencies through Chicagoland local developers. Responsibilities will include participation in the entire estimating proposal process from client interactions, selection of proposed projects, quantity take-off, supplier and subcontractor solicitation, scope writing, and contract review. You will be cross trained into project management to be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing excavationsewer and water projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. You will learn to define each project's objectives and oversee quality control and safety throughout its life cycle.
