We are currently partnered with a Boutique Hedge Fund which operates with a start-up mentality. You will be supporting the General Counsel on a variety of Investment Management and fund related legal matters. This individual will be working with key business leaders across the firm on a variety of complex projects relating to investment fund transactions as well as regulatory matters. This is an excellent chance to move in-house with the ability to manage relationships while wearing a number of different corporate hats with room for operational and career growth.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal expertise to the GC and business leaders on all investment management fund related legal matters.Provide transactional support on all investment transactions, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating term sheets, purchase and sale agreements, and any other advisory matters.Draft & negotiate commercial contractsAdvise on all legal and regulatory work done in support of fund investments and operationsRequirementsJD from a top tier Law school4-7 years of experience within private practice, in-house environment or mix of both.Experienced with fund investment transactionsExperienced with the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 & Investment Mgmt regulationsIf you're interested in the Associate General Counsel role, feel free to reach out with an updated copy of your resume
