Amerex Group LLC is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, mid-level experienced, individual to assist in creatingdeveloping seasonal product for outerwear. This is an in-person position located in the heart of NYC in the Garment Center. Remote work is not offered for this position. Search and preparation of colortrend reports for designers and salesbuyers.Original sketching in Illustratorpreparing tech packs and BOM's.Steaming and taking photos of garments.Order samples for accounts andor advertising.Attend fit sessions and adjust tech packs as needed.Responsible for handling specs for garments.Assist in creating original artwork, graphics and trim development.Keen eye for color and ability to approve lab dips and anize and maintain fabric library.Maintain and update seasonal brand line sheets.Daily Communications with vendors and factories.Qualifications3-5 years experience in fashion design, preferably in outerwearExperience in preparing tpacks and detailed sketchingStrong understanding of garment constructionProficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopReliable, hardworking, honest, and willing to helpStrong CAD sketching skills and ability to translate ideas through sketchingStrong written and verbal communication skillsExtremely detailed and organizedFluent in EnglishTo be considered for this position, please submit your resume and any relevant samples of your CADs, tech packs, andor portfolio.
