Nosotras hablamos español!Job Description:As an Installer, you will be responsible for the on-site installation of a variety of custom woodwork and cabinetry. Your role is essential in ensuring that our products are installed accurately and efficiently, upholding our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. You will work closely with our production team and clients to ensure successful installations.Responsibilities:•Install custom woodwork and cabinetry according to design plans, blueprints, and specifications.•Ensure all installations meet the company's standards for quality and craftsmanship.•Work with a variety of tools and equipment to secure woodwork and cabinetry safely and securely.•Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.•Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers to ensure smooth and efficient installations.•Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.•Perform touch-ups and adjustments as needed to ensure a perfect fit and finish.•Keep accurate records of installations and report any discrepancies or issues to the project manager.Qualifications:•Proven experience as an Installer or similar role in the millwork or woodworking industry.•Strong knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and tools.•Ability to read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.•Excellent attention to detail and precision in all aspects of installation.•Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including drills, levels, and saws.•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.•Good communication and interpersonal skills.•Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various site conditions.•High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in woodworking or carpentry is a plus.Benefits:•Competitive salary based on experience.•Paid time off and holidays.•Opportunities for professional growth and development.•Collaborative and supportive work environment.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, a cover letter detailing their relevant experience, and any references to with the subject line "Installer Application" or call Liz at (718) 392-1600.
