SALES/MARKETING POSITION Perform outreach and job development to employers regarding the benefits of working with Starting Over for Success (a non-profit organization)/Offender Success Program for their employment needs and to develop and implement employer recruiting strategies for Allegan County and Ottawa County. Employer Search Services to Be Provided Referral of the parolee/probationer to employment opportunities Assistance in communication regarding available employment opportunities with Program Mgr Work 15-20 hours per week contacting prospective employer via person-to-person appointment, emails, and phone calls; tracking number of contacts made each week Contact with potential employers promoting the hiring of the parolee/probationer Contact with employer to assist/intervene in issues to encourage job retention. This service must be completed within the first 2 weeks of employment and is considered building rapport for continued business growth. Work with Parole/Probation staff to facilitate Employment Workshops, Job Fairs, and Orientations in conjunction with the S.O.S. Program Manager. Compensation $20 per hour, Quarterly commission, based on growth of employers partnered with the SOS/Offender Success program and with employees working at least 40 hours per week.
