Overview: As a Level 2 Snowmaker, you will brave the elements with the primary goal of safely and efficiently operating all snowmaking equipment. Must be a team player and take great pride in a job well done! Schedule availability: 6:45 AM - 7 PM (day) or 6:45 PM - 7 AM (grave). Weekdays, weekends, holidays. Overtime required. Hours are weather dependent. Responsibilities: All responsibilities of a Level 1 Snowmaker Receive daily work instruction and complete assigned tasks with a positive attitude and minimal supervision Operate high voltage equipment, high pressure air and water systems utilizing appropriate safety precautions Set up, tear down, and maintain snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner on any trail that has snowmaking on it Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface Assist in charging, maintaining and blowing down of snowmaking systems Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of buildings, equipment, snow guns, and hoses Responsible for checking out and returning all tools, headlamps, and radios to original locations Unconditionally use the appropriate PPE required for the various types of work to be done Be willing to learn mechanical knowledge skills, including the understanding of hydrants, valves, water lines and other snowmaking systems components Able to troubleshoot and correct basic malfunctions and breakdowns of snowmaking equipment Be willing to help in other departments during peak periods Complete other duties as assigned by management or supervisor with a positive attitude Qualifications: Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old Experience with a variety of snowmaking equipment Valid drivers license and no restrictions Must be able to communicate fluently in English Be able to lift, bend, kneel, and carry up to 75 lbs.
