Target Start Date 5/3/2021 Target End Date 4/30/2024 An Indian Health Clinic in South Dakota seeking a Primary Care physician to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Details: 6-month commitment with an option to extend Schedule: Monday-Friday (40-50 hours per week) Daily Volume: 12-16 patients Requirements: FM, IM, or GP physicians Flight, hotel & car provided If you are interested in this contract assignment, please apply. QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered physician state license Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program One year of work experience as a Primary Care Physician One year of Epic experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
