Having recently expanded internationally and with a deep pipeline of location unveilings, we are excited to bring a technically strong Assistant Controller aboard the business.With over $400M in total funding and a plethora of expansion plans in the works, the business is looking for a hands-on, strategically focused Assistant Controller to support their growth. The RoleThe Assistant Controller will function as a valued business partner, working alongside the VP Controller and leading a direct team of 4. This person will own accounting activities related to leases, revenue recognition, month-end-close, audit, and various ad-hoc projects.With operations in 10 countries, this will require building a world-class accounting team across continents and handle consolidations with various currencies With expansion projects close to unveiling and others in the pipeline, the role will require a hands-on approach, with this individual responsible for establishing robust financial controls and processessystems that support scalability.ResponsibilitiesManage the compay's month-end-close process and global consolidationAnalyze and present on P&L variance on a monthly and quarterly basisOversee audit, tax, and investor reporting processesContinuously find ways to streamline processes to make reporting more efficientEvaluate new lease terms to ensure complianceTrain, develop, and lead a team of accountantsWhat You Need8+ years of experienceExperience leading on consolidations for multi-unit businessesExperience with an ERP SystemWhat We'd Like to SeeExperience taking a business on a "growth journey"CPA or Big 4 Accounting background8+ years of experience Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 + Bonus + Six-figure equityLocation: New York, New York (Hybrid)If you are interested about this exceptional opportunity, please connect with Will for further details.
