We are a growing full-service MEPFP Engineering firm located in Dublin, Ohio with a start-up office in Tampa, FL. We are currently seeking a Junior - Senior level Fire protection andor Plumbing EngineerDesigner for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, andor healthcare type facilities. Job responsibilities and qualifications include:ResponsibilitiesProduction of detailed plumbing and fire protection drawings for new and existing facilities utilizing AutoCad or Revit.Equipment evaluation and selection to fit project design & capacity requirements.Development of plumbing & fire protection specifications.Ensure that all drawings are prepared with accuracy & neatness prior to project municate wproject team members & vendors to obtain necessary info. for drawingsKnowledge & implementation of relevant codes. OBC, OPCIPC, NFPA, IFGC, etc.Attend meetings with clients and various other consultants.Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions.Construction administration including RFI's, change orders, shop dwgs., field conflicts, etc.Construction Observation as required & development of field punches.  QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent experience.Must have a minimum of 2 years' (or more) experience.Must be proficient in either AutoCAD or Revit.Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines and end-goals.Must be located in Columbus, OH
