The YM & YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood is seeking an experienced passionate social worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work and experience in geriatric social work to direct and expand our Center for Aging In Pace programs for older adults in northern Manhattan. SUPERVISES: APON Social Work CoordinatorHudson Community Project: Safe at Home ProgramNORC Outreach ProgramHolocaust Survivors and Older Adults Victims of Trauma ProgramsCommunity Service Program RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinating and enhancing of trauma informed care services.Developing and implementing of the center's goals, policies, procedures and activities.Providing direct services to clients including clinical and safety assessments, services and referrals through office, in-home visits and telephone contacts.Maintaining complete case records for clients and data analysis.Supervising and developing full-time & part-time Social Workers and volunteers, developing performance goals and development plans for staff.Supervising part time Case Workers, Housekeeper and Volunteers.Preparing monthly billing for homecare clients. Attending and presenting designated meetings andor trainings. Preparing reports and grants, coordinating activities funded by private and public sources.Establishing the Advisory Council.Attending and presenting at designated meetings andor trainings.REQUIREMENTS:Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Related Field.Trauma Informed Care Experience. Geriatric and Supervisory experience.Strong administrative skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and competency in general computer skills.
