JOB DESCRIPTION: Design and develop test plans for testing the APIs, microservices and their configurations that have been built for this projectDevelop integration tests to cover the automated testing of API applications within a cloud environmentCreate clear, well-documented and modular automation test suitesEnsure that components are tested as per design documents and test results are captured in AzDO TestplansContribute to runbook documentation for testing API microservice applicationsDevelop and configure CICDCT automation processes to ensure rapid automation testing of API applicationsParticipate in brainstorming sessions and group activities to determine new solutions and ideas to optimize our testing proceduresPromote an environment that supports collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with our clients, team members, and other OTI teamsMANDATORY SKILLS:Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be consideredAt least 8 years of overall software testing experienceA minimum of 7 years of QA Automation with experience with programming languagesframeworks such as Java and Selenium WebdriverAt least 5 years of API microservice applications testing using Soap UIReady APIAt least 3 years of solid hands-on experience with Azure andor AWS and knowledge of various cloud servicesUnderstanding of API Gateways, proxies, and concepts of securing API endpoints (e.g., rate limiting, API tokens)Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and no-SQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.Experience with Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines or equivalent CICD toolsA team player with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, interpersonal, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability to work with customers and other non technical end users on complex issues Has a high degree of responsibility and can work as an independent contributor to accomplish program goalsMust have sound technical writing skills and be able to produce clear documentationDESIRABLE SKILLS:Experience using Azure services for App Service, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, Data Lake, etc.Knowledge of Informatica Intelligent Cloud ServicesExperience with Azure Monitoring servicesExperience with Microfocus Loadrunner.
