Production PlannerColumbus, GA Responsibilities:Create Production Orders for both internal details and end assemblies to meet Customer and Company schedule requirements.Provide on-time starts and material releases while focusing on part allocation, material flow and shortage management.Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials necessary for terface with internal Purchasing to ensure a steady material flow.Work to manage any material delays or inventory issues.Access Customer portals to check on any schedule changes.Work within the SAP system to continually search for opportunities to enhance the production and material process using a variety of problem-solving techniques.Participate in process improvement opportunities using CORE and Lean Strategies to ensure accurate and prompt inventory accounting and financial reporting.Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by following all policies and procedures and completing all required training and supporting EH&S activities.Preferred Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.Ability to work with all levels of employees, management, and customers.Strong analytical skills including problem solving and troubleshooting.Able to demonstrate the practical application of continuous improvement principles.Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
