With their HQ based in Australia and teams across Dallas, New York and London we are passionate and driven to make an impact globally.This role will be based in New YorkThe RoleThey are looking for a talented (Mid-Senior) Full Stack Developer who will work closely with the Product team to assist with Product Development and Client Technical Support.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and testing product features in scheduled software development cyclesAssist in maintaining live cloud systems (AWS)Live and breath code, perfecting code that runs fast and efficientWrite "clean", well-designed code, reusable, scalable and testable.Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionalityAs part of a Agile team, you will contribute to all the phases of the development lifecycle, by troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining our software solutionsComply and support our ISO 27001 Information Security Management System as it applies to your role in the organizationRequired Skills and ExperienceUniversity degree completed in Computer Science or Software Engineering5+ years of professional experience with PHP with experience with Laravel frameworkExtensive experience in developing and maintaining REST APIs, with a focus on security and best practices for scalable, reusable APIsGood knowledge of AWS, including with AWS certifications of associate or professional levelGood knowledge of web based development; Javascript, React OR Vue, etcGood knowledge of SQL, writing efficient and scalable codeFamiliar with Docker, Git and KubernetesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsThe ability to work well under pressure with a self-starter attitude, able to take initiativeStrong sense of ownership, as well as communication and time management skills.Desirable SkillsExperience in PHP, Laravel, Vue, SQL, AWS will be looked upon favorably (our tech stack), as well as working with APIs and integrations and cloud based platformsExperience with PhpUnit, test driven developmentExperience writing 3rd party integrationsNode.js experienceProfessional experience, particularly in a SaaS andor tech startup environment (whether as a Software Developer or not) will be looked upon favorablyPerks of the job!We are a young, growing company with big global ambitions.
