As an agency we make what we believe in.About this role: The Creative Strategy Team at Soze integrates strategic and creative thinking to ensure that every part of our work is grounded in a clear "why". We deliver informed and inspiring recommendations that expand our team's and clients' perspectives on what could be possible - while creating impact with the communities they're hoping to reach. Effective creative strategists must know how to craft pathways to develop transformative ideas, tell the best stories, think of the strongest beats in a campaign, and shape it all into a cohesive, compelling, culturally-relevant strategy. We are looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to join our fast-growing team. Our ideal candidate is a flexible self-starter with a passion for creativity and social impact who is looking to grow and play an active role in shaping the Creative Strategy Department. You are comfortable interacting with people at all levels of a client's organization, as well as conducting stakeholder and community interviews. ResponsibilitiesFrom the beginning of a project to the end, Strategists are conceptual thinkers, problem solvers, and storytellers who work across integrated teams and multiple projects. Senior Creative Strategists are responsible for the following: Lead the development of all strategy deliverables for small to medium-sized projects, with some oversight and support from the broader team.Serve in a client-facing role, deliver presentations, and engage with key stakeholders - with oversight and support from the broader Creative Strategy team and project team members. Initiate client discovery sessions, guiding internal and external teams to establish clear objectives and strong goals.Identify key audiences and communities, with a clear understanding of who they are, what we want them to feel, and the action we want them to take. Conduct landscape research, uncovering relevant trends and insights to the issue areas, audiences, and culture at large - and support qualitative interview processes to capture stories from real people.Facilitate creative concepting and brainstorming with internal team members, and collaborate to shape strong ideas that ladder back to the strategy. Remain part of the project into the execution phase, which could include supporting small copywriting needs, advising on social strategies and influencer, shaping messaging for communications, providing perspectives on experiential journeys, and more. Actively contribute to Soze's internal culture and the Creative Strategy Department's approach and processes, with proactive and creative ideas for how to make our collective work stronger. Experience 3-5 years of experience in a creative agency or similar environment. Client-facing experience is strongly preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with proficiency in building decks, particularly in Google Slides.Foundational knowledge of multiple research methods, from landscape analysis to qualitative interviews and surveys, audience research, stakeholder interviews, etc - with the ability to draw conclusions and form a clear point-of-view.Proven and tested ability to juggle multiple projects, navigate multiple personalities, and maintain a positive attitude through it fort in working closely with a team through various stages of strategy building, refinement, and creative concepting. Strong organizational abilities, including time management and attention to detail. Strong understanding of how to translate the client's objectives into creative solutions.Salary + BenefitsSalary band for this role is $75,000 to $90,000.
