Built Brands is seeking a detailed, self-motivated team player to join the accounting department as our Senior Brand Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans that will drive and achieve our revenue and profit objectives. In partnership with the CMO and other cross functional team members, the successful candidate will: develop brand communications that educate consumers about our products and build household penetration, design and execute robust 360 marketing plans and tactics to support growth in all channels, particularly retail; oversee and be accountable for brand's development in social media and collaborate with sales to prepare best-in-class customer presentations and ensure new products launch with excellence. Prior marketing and brand experience with CPG required. Primary Job Responsibilities:- Robust 360 Marketing:Lead marketing plan development under guidance of CMO. Includes identification of category trends, competitive assessment, consumption data analysis and insights, share and distribution goals, and key marketing initiatives to deliver annual targets.Lead a cohesive mix of marketing tactics leveraging all consumer touchpoints such as PR, social digital media, influencers, ambassador, shopper marketing tactics to drive trial and store velocities.Brief and collaborate with creative and social media team members to increase followers and engagement in social media.Coordinate with team members running our DTC and Amazon businesses to ensure brand messaging and assets are consistent across all channels.-Sales Collaboration & Product Launch Support:Collaborate with sales to maximize brand's success at retail. Support customer presentation development. Partner with cross-functional team to ensure product launches at retail are well-communicated and executed. Includes collaboration on pricing, pack, and promotional strategies as well as development of sell-in materials and marketing programs.Identify and execute shopper marketing programs at strategic accounts and be able to tie digital marketing back to store. Brief and oversee creation of POS and other in-store materials; coordinate retail-focused marketing programs like digital coupons, signage.Measure and analyze success of marketing programs and initiate improvements in the spirit of always driving better value for our marketing dollar.Partner with both sales teams on development of selling, trade show and other support materials.- Brand Stewardship:Partner with CMO and social media creative leads to ensure brand communication in all channels is consistent with positioning, brand voice and tone. Includes collaboration with DTC and Amazon team.Support creative team in creation of assets through photo and video shoots.Oversee and manage PR, ambassador and influencer marketing efforts.Support social media and content creation team members in tracking, analyzing and reporting results of organic and paid media, including comparison to competitive and benchmark brands.Leads brand collaborations from ideation to launch.Track and manage budget.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus5-7 years of brand marketing experience, both small and large co experience a plusExperience in multiple channels (Food, Drug, Club, Mass, Natural, DTC, Amazon,etc).Strong syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen) analysis skill-setNew product commercialization experienceDemonstrated ability to achieve multiple objectives with varying timelinesStrong presentation skillsTeam player and ability to work well and build strong relationships with cross-functional teamsResults-oriented with high level of initiative and assertivenessProficient in PowerPoint and ExcelP&Lbudget management experienceExperience in ad buying and campaign development a plusTravel Requirements Office location: American Fork (south of Salt Lake City) - this is not a remote job and requires candidate to work in office.
