Property Accountant Prominent midtown real estate owner operator seeks a Property Accountant with experience in handling accounting functions for a commercial office property. The ideal candidate will have the skills and savvy to be an important contributor behind the firm's accounting operations. Responsibilities:Perform the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting associated with a commercial office property which includes AP, AR, journal entries, etc.Assist with month-end close procedures and preparation of financial reports.Perform bank reconciliations and cash management responsibilities.Assist with reconciling and billing CAM chargesAssist with review of commercial and retail terface with external auditors during year-end review.Assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications: BA in Accounting Finance or relevant discipline.3+ years of experience with property accounting.Proficiency with Yardi real estate accounting software.Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
