Our client, one of the largest banking and financial institutions in the world, is looking for a Vice President to joint their Equity Domestic Settlements team.Primary Functions:Oversee daily analyst output by reviewing end-of-day checklists, break reports, failed trade reports, funding reconciliations.Responsible for ensuring the bank meets all regulatory requirements (REGSHO, buy-ins, Possession or ControlCustomer Segregation) associated with Equities Trade ClearanceWork closely with Regulatory Compliance to confirm failing trades are actioned within regulatory prescribed timeframesRepresent the bank at RiskControlReconBalance Sheet Substantiation meetingsDirect people management responsibilitiesDecision-Making and Management of Risk:Each employee must be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.Ability to apply Industry practices mandates into BAU functionsQualifications:Minimum of 8 years of experience, including people management experienceExtensive knowledge of DTCC, with a concentration in settlements processingHaving or willing to obtain a Series 99 within six months
