If you're looking to join a growing company led by passionate people committed to being the best, contact us today!The Client Reporting Services (CRS) team is a critical component of our commercial delivery and success for all managed clients at LAZ Parking. The department is comprised of over 80 highly qualified accountants who specialize in client services and providing monthly financial reporting for over 3,800 locations. All team members pride themselves on completing reports in a timely, accurate, and complete manner in accordance with GAAP or Cash Basis of accounting consistent with underlying management agreement terms and client expectations. This position is at the Home Office located in Hartford, CT and follows a hybrid work schedule. The Spirit of the Position:The Staff Accountant accurately reconcile and journalize accounting entries for monthly client activity, including revenues, costsexpenses, and financial activity. Timely report the summarized monthly activity and results in the form of financial statements and related schedules as part of a complete monthly financial report package. Communicate and interact with regional and facility personnel working in the field.Responsibilities: Monthly accounting and reporting for a portfolio of individual managed locations within an assigned regionPerform required month-end close activities for each location, including accurate preparation and recording of all journal entries.Reconcile and record activity from daily cash reports, credit card activity reports, and bank statements. - Complete individual location bank reconciliations using auto matching application.Reconcile all location Balance Sheets and related asset, liability and equity accounts. Prepare analysis and lead sheets, when pile and prepare comprehensive monthly financial report packages and submit timely to the field for review and approval.Meet monthly financial report submission deadlines to GM and client in line with management agreement and client expectations.Calculate, prepare, and file all applicable tax returns, including property, parking, and sales and use taxes.Prepare and process funding and wiring requirements, including distributions, taxes, and intercompany municate and interact with regional and facility personnel working in the field.Education: BABS Degree in AccountingSkills:Experience and proven ability in demonstrating analytical, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and effectively interface and communicate both through written and verbal means.Excellent computer skills, including high and proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook).Experience:Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in General Accounting or Finance with application of GAAP.Experience with multiple location responsibilities and meeting reporting deadlines is mercial Property Management accounting and client financial reporting experience a plus.Physical Demands:Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
