Job Description

The Manager for Treasury Functions Transformation will oversee initiatives aimed at transforming the execution, governance, methodology, and support of various Treasury functions. This role involves managing processes related to Liquidity, Interest Rate, and Capital Risk. The manager will collaborate with Treasury leaders to enhance systems and processes, working closely with senior management and key stakeholders to develop efficient execution systems and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Transformation Leadership: Oversee and lead transformation initiatives within the Treasury functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Process Management: Manage and optimize processes related to Liquidity, Interest Rate, and Capital Risk.Collaboration: Work closely with Treasury leaders and senior management to enhance systems, processes, and methodologies.Tool Development: Create and implement new tools for calculations, ensuring data quality and robust controls are maintained.Strategic Implementation: Set strategic objectives and plans for process re-engineering, leading change activities in coordination with senior Treasury sponsors.Opportunity Management: Identify and manage business opportunities within the long-term planning process, develop and adopt business cases, and oversee the implementation of overall initiatives.Coordination: Coordinate with Treasury leaders to align and schedule deliverables with broader Finance Transformation timelines.Requirements:Experience: Previous experience as a VP at a bank with specific expertise in Treasury functions.Generalist Knowledge: Broad understanding of various Treasury functions, including risk management and the interaction of different Treasury components to form a cohesive ecosystem.Versatility: Experience in multiple areas of Treasury, with knowledge of risk, function operations, and the synergy between instruments and risk.Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and transformation within a complex financial environment.Stakeholder Management: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.
