We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fine Jewelry Merchandise Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising, sales, and a passion for the jewelry industry.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability within the fine jewelry category.- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the industry.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, marketing, and sales to ensure effective execution of merchandise plans.- Manage product assortment planning by analyzing historical data, current market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.- Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing terms and maintain positive relationships.- Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.- Analyze sales performance data regularly to identify areas for improvement or growth opportunities.- Stay updated on industry trends including new product launches, competitor activities, pricing strategies etc.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred- Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising or related roles within the jewelry industry- Strong knowledge of fine jewelry products including diamonds, gemstones etc. preferred- Proven track record of successful merchandise planning and execution- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data effectively- Strong negotiation skills with vendorspartners-Possess excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)-Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills-Able handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
