We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant with 1-2 years' tax prep experience, for the New York City office location. This role requires a high energy individual with strong interpersonal skills. Come join our team!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare monthly reportsResolve vendor issues for clientsPrepare multi-state individual and corporate returnsCommunicate with clients and their advisorsFlexible availability (able to work nights and weekends, as needed)Requirements:BS or Masters in Accounting, required1-3 years' experience in a small-to-mid-sized CPA or Business Management Accounting FirmCPA, or CPA eligibleStrong tax law knowledgeMotivated, self-starterOrganized and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to multi-task and prioritizeTerrific communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to problem solve, thinking both creatively and logicallyAble to work in a team environment, as well as individuallyAbility to maintain confidentialityStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeProficiency with CCH Axcess is a plusProficiency with Quickbooks, DataFaction, AgilLink and DF Imaging is a plus
