We are a growing and busy Immigration Law firm located in Newark, seeking to add an experienced paralegal professional to our roster. If you are interested in having the opportunity to impact people's lives, then this is the job for you!Murray Osorio is looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Affirmative Immigration Paralegal to join our team. We are a full-service immigration firm, and we represent clients before immigration offices and courts throughout the country and in consular posts throughout the world.Senior Immigration Paralegals work on a variety of cases, interview clients, manage our client database, provide interpretation support, complete applications, research country conditions, assist in drafting briefs, and provide joint supervision with other senior paralegals of our roster of contractor legal aids. A successful candidate will be bilingual (EnglishSpanish), will display the ability to work independently, and as a cohesive unit. A Senior Paralegal must work effectively, be a self-starter, meet deadlines, and possess great attention to detail and organizational skills. Standout candidates excel at time management and will also strive to be client services-orientated.Basic Qualifications:Must be fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)High School DiplomaGED.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Able to handle the volume of work independently and in teams.Be detail oriented with strong highly organizational and time-management skills.Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal, written communication, and proofreading skills.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred qualifications:3-5 years of experience working in law firm setting (immigration experience preferred)Bachelorsassociate degree with paralegal studies (ABA approved)Experience using Docket wise, Salesforce, SharePoint, Zoom, and Outlook appsWe offer a competitive benefits package (401K wemployer match, health insurance, paid vacation, etc.).
