As a Product Developer, you will collaborate closely with the design, development, production teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of fit, quality, and construction.You will be responsible for managing product development process, attending fittings, preparing sample packages, and providing guidance to manufacturers and patternmakers throughout the product development process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fit, garment construction, pattern making.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the DesignPD team to execute fit comments for the wovenleather categories.Attends all fittings and all relevant meetings.Take fit notes during the fittings and prepare for next sample launching.Manage the sample development process and be accountable for generating specification packages via RLM or excel sheet.Visit local factories vendors as needed to troubleshoot, educate, and understand vendorfactory capabilities.Identifies "at risk" styles, and react proactively, being on top of potential issues.Follow up on emails from factories regarding comments on fitconstructionworkmanship.Adheres to cross-functional calendar.Work with product development team to prepare sampling package.Protects "KHAITE" brand integrity through fit continuity, upholding construction standards and consistency.Qualifications and Experience:Proficiency in using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.Proficient in RLM is a plus.Exceptional attention to details and organized skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to cross functional teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and development, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, providing clear communication and guidance on technical aspects of production.Track workload, meetings, and deadlines.Respond to departmental correspondence on a daily basis.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Strong team player.The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. s.KHAITE is an equal opportunity employer.
