We are seeking a Permanent Staff Accountant to join our reputable company in the finance industry. This role is an integral part of our finance team and will play a key role in maintaining our financial health and driving our company's financial operations.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:1. Participating in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.2. Performing bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations on a regular basis to maintain accurate financial records.3. Managing intercompany billings and charge billings, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.4. Calculating and booking various accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.5. Assisting in monthly financial reporting, providing critical data to inform business decisions.6. Administering budgets, working closely with various departments to ensure financial targets are met.7. Conducting a detailed review of the accounts payable process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.8. Resolving general accounts receivable issues, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure prompt payment.9. Managing fixed assets, ensuring all assets are accurately accounted for and depreciated correctly.10. Administering the company's credit card program, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.11. Providing direct support to the Controller, assisting with various tasks as needed.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant role will have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.2. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a particular focus on month-end close, bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, intercompany billings, charge billings, and accrual calculations.3. Proven experience with financial reporting, budget administration, accounts payable review, accounts receivable management, fixed asset management, and credit card program administration.4. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.7.
