This role is pivotal in driving the strategic growth of our business by managing multiple capital projects related to manufacturing processes and facilities. The successful candidate will have a background in piping, millwork, and commissioning, and will be responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.Responsibilities:1. Develop and manage project plans, including project scope, goals, schedule, and budget in collaboration with stakeholders.2. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all company and regulatory requirements.3. Coordinate and manage all project activities, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.4. Provide technical and project management support for the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of capital projects.5. Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.6. Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling.7. Review and approve all project-related documentation, including plans, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.8. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed, providing regular updates to stakeholders.9. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet business needs.10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on capital projects.3. Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to completion.4. Extensive knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.5. Demonstrated experience in piping, millwork, and commissioning.6. Proficient in using project management software and other standard office software.7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.8. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.9. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.10.
