This role requires collaboration with Ace's Retail Support Traffic Departments and various departments in Corporate to implement safety initiatives and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations. Additionally, the position involves conducting regulatory audits of fleet operations to ensure alignment with company policies and DOT regulations What you'll doResponsible for conducting routine quarterly compliance audits for Ace RSC's and development of strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance the RSCs safety performance.Coordinate FMCSA Mock DOT Audit at each RSC to identify and address any safety or compliance risks. Develop action plans for deficiencies identified and ensure action plans are implemented to ensure deficiencies addressed. Provide Oversight & Support for all in cab Equipment including electronic logging devices (ELD), Cameras & Trailer Tracking.Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations regarding ELD usage and reportingMonitor and interpret regulatory changes and advise management of necessary adjustmentsConduct training sessions for staff on ELD usage, safety practices, and compliance requirements.Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipmentOversee the collection and analysis of ELD data to monitor driver behavior, hours of service and complianceConduct regular RSC audits to ensure compliance with FMCSA ELD MandateOversee Ace's compliance with International Fuel Tax (IFTA) Reporting by monitoring monthly and quarterly reports. Ensure compliance with IFTA regulations and guidelinesConduct internal audits to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with IFTA RegulationsOversee and audit Ace's Driver Payroll program to ensure compliance with Ace's Driver Compensation ProgramReview Weekly Workday Manual Payroll Report and review with Retail Support Centers to ensure manual payroll entries are minimal. Ensure the retention of manual payroll entries via paperwork. Troubleshoot ELD, Samsara and E2Open to ensure payroll is flowing into Workday. Conduct payroll audits to ensure compliance with Ace's Driver Compensation Plan.Provide day-to-day fleet safety management support and assist front line and regional management team.
