A Tire Tech and Material Handler at FCA Transport will be responsible for all aspects of tire repair and related services including material handling.   Changing, mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing semi-tractor trailer tires Determine repairable tire conditions and make such repairs. Inflation of tire to prescribed psi per load requirements. Clean and maintain service equipment. Safely drive a hi-lo Load and unload trailers Move stock, parts, equipment, etc. Wash tractors and trailers Handle scrap and materials for recycling or placement in the gondolas Perform service calls in all-weather conditions. The qualified individual must be willing and able to drive a service vehicle to where a driver or trailer is having a problem and be able to repair or replace tire(s) as needed. Job duties may be performed at a Stellantis facility, or at other non-Stellantis locations including on side of highways. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.
