Job Description

Responsibilities West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature: 150 beds A 37-bay emergency department Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites. Endoscopy suites Cardiac catheterization labs An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders. Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Qualifications Shift:   FULL TIME EVENINGS   Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.   Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.   Technical Skills: Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)   License/Certification: Current license as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Nevada, Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the National Healthcareer Association as a pharmacy technician.   EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
