StevenDouglas is partnered with a privately held healthcare organization to fill the role of Controller! This role will report directly to the CFO and oversee a team of 2 while owning the corporate accounting functions. ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entries and schedules according to monthly close by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account informationPerforms monthly account analysis and roll-forwards of general ledger accounts to ensure they properly reflect the Company's financial position in accordance with company policyAssists in ensuring that the Company's revenues and expenses are correctly reported and classified correctlyPrepares various monthly financial reports and statements for use by managementComplete monthly review of all assigned balance sheet reconciliationsCreates and maintains recurring monthly journal entries to General LedgerAssist in documenting and monitoring internal controlsOngoing management of cash positionOngoing reviews of cash transactions to verify transactions are recorded in accordance with company policyPerforms special assignments as requiredResearch of accounts, reconciling items, and transactions as neededPrepare monthly bank reconciliationsOther projects as neededQuarterly and monthly payroll tax return preparationBorrowing base calculation preparationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in AccountingGAAP knowledge, CPA preferredStrong written, verbal and collaboration skillsApply today!!
