Overview: The Village at Victory LakesLindenhurst, IL 60046Plant Ops Tech  Rate based on experience $23 - $31  The Village at Victory Lakes, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring a Plant Operations Technician who is customer focused to become a part of a healthcare company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy.  We currently have a part-time position available. We love our Nursing Staff!  THAT'S WHY WE OFFER...INCREASED WAGES!  Starting wages up to $40/HourA Variety of Shifts - Part-Time and Full-TimeEmployee Referral BonusHourly Shift DifferentialsPayActiv - Immediately access up to 50% of your earned payTax Free Student Loan ForgivenessGreat Health PlansEmployer Funded Health Savings AccountCompany Paid Life InsuranceLife/Disability Insurance401k MatchTuition AssistanceGenerous Paid Time OffQuarterly Appreciation EventsA 5-Star CMS Rated TeamTop Place to Work 2023 Consistently ranked as one of the Best Nursing Homes by US News Magazine!Hours:Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Weekend Rotation approx. every 5 weeksDuties and responsibilities: Will work under the supervision of the Director of Plant Operations.  Maintain grounds, physical structure and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, manufacturer guidelines and regulations. Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and protocols.Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, painting, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.  Address work orders properly and promptly.Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs and entrances to facility.Perform/document unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.Clean windows and screens as directed.Service heating and cooling units/systems, generators as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.Alternate carrying security radio while on duty and ensure appropriate channel lock and volume. Required skills and qualifications: Electrician or HVAC certification / electrician license preferred High school diploma or equivalent3-5 Years of prior Plant Operations experience, preferredCertified training to work in: plumbing, electrical, HVAC or a combination or related work experience. The Village at Victory Lakes is a vibrant senior living community in Lindenhurst, Illinois.
