Job Title

As the Plant Accountant at our Pineville, LA location, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our plant's leadership on various projects including annual budgeting, profit planning, and standardizing operational procedures. You Will:Analyze, monitor, and provide insight into actual vs. planned key performance metrics and site budgetsInterface closely with the plant manager and  plant controller to support business activities, ensure plant accounting and finance activities comply with corporate policies and directivesAssist in the preparation of presentations including monthly and quarterly business reviews, annual budgets, and other business planning initiatives Coordination & participation in quarter-end and year-end physical inventory audits.Determining costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.Adhoc reporting and analysis as requested by Leadership You Have: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree.Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience Working knowledge of GAAPManufacturing experience is preferred Experience with SAP is highly preferredPlastipak is an Equal Opportunity EmployerIn order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
