Our mission is to create a plan that empowers our clients to truly live a life that is about more than money. We are looking for a dedicated, skilled, and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The CPA will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant tax filings for our organization and our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, tax regulations, and a proven track record of effectively managing tax and accounting related responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties * Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns in compliance with current tax laws and regulations. * Conduct thorough tax research to identify opportunities for tax savings and ensure accurate tax reporting. * Collaborate with financial planners and advisors to develop comprehensive financial plans that incorporate effective tax strategies and updating plans to make sure clients are on track with their goals based on their value system that will provide them with highest probability of success. * Provide expert advice to the lead advisors regarding tax implications of financial decisions, investment strategies, and wealth management. * Perform bookkeeping and payroll services for existing clients. * Prepare Quarterly and Annual Payroll and Contract Labor tax reporting. * Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to proactively advise clients and the firm on potential impacts. * Assist in resolving complex tax issues, including IRS inquiries, audits, and assessments. * Provide excellent customer service by helping clients resolve their questions with the highest level of courtesy possible. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA certification preferred. * 4+ years of proven experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar tax-focused role. * Profound knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and laws. * Strong proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software (Lacerte, QuickBooks, Etc), financial management systems, and MS Office Suite. * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. * Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality Additional Considerations * Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. * Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education. * Collaborative and inclusive work environment that values innovation and teamwork.
