ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain paper roll inventory on presss Order correct quantity and type of paper Shift paper rolls and locate on press Set up splicer for continuous feed Participate in make readies and hanging plates Fill ink fountains and check conductivity Performs initial check out Act as second press operator when required Enter required shop floor data into Technique May handle hazardous waste as part of daily job functions Other duties as assigned by management  QUALIFICATIONS: Monitor/Assess performance of yourself and others to make improvements or take corrective actions Ability to perform basic math functions Must have the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal Must be dependable, reliable and responsible in fulfilling obligations Must work well with others Must be flexible and open to change when needed Able to follow instructions and make decisions Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders Must have some printing experience The ability to work 10 to 12 hour shifts PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Must have some printing experience Minimum 1-year Press Room experience Ability to interpret and utilize various units of measure and their conversions
