We are looking for a dedicated RN PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.About this unit:1 GI room (expansion coming soon); 5-9 patient average per dayNo on-callNew physician joining this group to help with continued growthExcellent communication and teamwork within the clinic and no turnoverResponsibilities:The RN will work with the Pain Clinic and GI lab procedural areas; responsible for checking in patients, medical history (phone and in person), assisting with procedures, providing instructions for follow-up.Will assist with recovery from GI procedures; some patients may be intubated. Will also be responsible for starting IVs.Qualifications You will Need:Graduation from an accredited School of NursingCurrent state of Missouri RN licensure required. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required. BLS certification required at hire and maintained. ACLS required within 6 months. Belton Regional Medical Center is an 80+ bed acute care facility.
