We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team. This in-person position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success.Job Description: The Assistant Controller will support our Accounting and Operations teams by performing a variety of accounting and analysis functions. These include processing and overseeing accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and job cost analysis.Key Responsibilities:Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile weekly billing/invoicing to customers.Oversee monthly invoicing of rent roll.Analyze current week's billing versus prior week.Compare pricing against purchase orders.Submit payment requests to customers.Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable invoices.Generate statements and follow up on payment requests to customers.Conduct job cost analysis on assigned projects and summarize results.Produce error-free accounting reports and present results to senior management.Assist with the preparation of financial statements and budgets, including preparation of workpapers.Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.Assist with tax audits and preparation of tax returns.Conduct internal and external audits as necessary.Ensure compliance with GAAP.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
