Please note, this link is only accessible for MSK employees.   Job Description: Per Diem Simulation Technician | Nursing Professional Development | New York, NY   Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Our Nursing Professional Development and Education Team is looking for a Per Diem Simulation Technician to assist in delivering all levels of simulation and psychomotor skills task training, maintenance, and technical support. They will function in a divisional support role for all nursing professional development specialists and serve as a resource for the nurse leader and Director   Role Overview: Serve as simulation facilitator by assisting in programming, testing, and conducting faculty run simulation scenarios. Assure the facility and equipment are set up for teaching sessions. Understand the use and operation of different simulator technologies ranging from anatomic models, task-trainers, screen-based simulations, full-body patient simulators, and virtual reality simulators. Provide technical support for computer-based multimedia systems and their components including operation of digital cameras, audio/video mixer, digital/analog converter, monitors, LCD projectors and other equipment. Ensure overall working order of all equipment, supplies, and computer/AV equipment within the simulation space. Conduct routine equipment maintenance, inventory updates, and equipment purchase requests. Set up and clean up rooms for simulation training sessions. Serve as a liaison between MSK Division of Nursing Professional Development and contract vendors.
