Job DescriptionJob Description:Responsible for operations, clinical practice, and ongoing development of pharmacy centralized services. Services include, but are not limited to, mail-order and home delivery, call center, long-term care pharmacy, central fulfillment services, drug warehousing and clinic medication distribution. The Director participates in departmental long-range planning, collaborates with pharmacy leaders and cross-functional teams to provide leadership and oversight of programs, processes, and business strategies.Education Qualifications:"‹Key Responsibilities:Provide oversight of operations in assigned pharmacy and/or clinical service areas, driving patient care excellence while ensuring achievement of department and organizational goalsMaintain accountability to and resolve challenges and issues with budget and financial targets for assigned areas, in collaboration with other stakeholdersBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate needs and ensure alignment within a highly matrixed environmentFoster an environment that provides consistent excellence in patient and customer experience, outcomes that meet or exceed quality standards and financial targets, a culture of employee engagement, and regulatory complianceDevelop, implement, and communicate key metrics and improvement activities to monitor operational performanceEnsure contractual obligations are met and support of external relationshipsTimely and accurate analysis and decision-making to support pharmacy business performance, operational, and financial objectivesDrive a culture of continuous improvement to achieve system pharmacy and organizational goalsMaintain knowledge to ensure and facilitate compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standardsOther duties as assignedEducational Requirements:Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in PharmacyRequired Qualifications:Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Pharmacy. If not licensed as a Registered Pharmacist upon hire, the candidate must have a Pharmacy Intern License and/or is eligible to work as an intern and must become a Registered Pharmacist within 90 days of hireExperience providing and overseeing pharmacy services including one of the following: 8 years of applicable pharmacy experience with minimum of 3 years pharmacy management experience; OR completion of accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency and minimum of 3 years applicable pharmacy management experience; OR completion of a PGY2 pharmacy residency and a minimum of 2 years applicable pharmacy management experienceMust be able to pass pre-employment drug testPreferred Qualifications:Master's in Business Administration or similar degreePrevious experience managing pharmacy centralized fulfillment or long-term care pharmacyLicensure/Certification Qualifications:Certification/Licensure Requirements:Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Pharmacy.
