Please note, this link is only accessible for MSK employees.   Job Description: Exciting Opportunity at MSK:  AV Technician, DigITs   We are looking for a  AV Technician  who's main focus will be on audio/visual responsibilities for MSKCC! We are excited to bring onboard a resource who has knowledge within a fast paced environment and who has a detailed understanding of a/v technologies.   Role Overview: Provide full event production support, either solo for smaller events or as part of a team for larger events. Run AV events for corporate communications, including pre-event practice runs with speakers and testing equipment. Ensure all equipment is operational and tested prior to events; escalate logistical issues that could impact the event. Manage client expectations on production issues and provide technical support to infrastructure communication specialists. Reconfigure conference room furniture to optimize the AV and user experience, and work closely with the Help Desk and peer technical groups. Key Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in audiovisual and networking environments, including installations, configurations, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Audio Visual industry equipment such as codecs, signal routing, audio DSP, microphones, and displays, with knowledge of operating Zoom, Teams, WebEx meetings. Audio consoles as part of equipment operation. Familiarity with macOS, Windows OS, and mobile devices, and experience reading AV systems drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication with staff at all levels, and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
