Here's what you can expect on a typical day as a Maintenance Electrician on our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions: Safety: Safety is our number one priority. You'll learn our plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards. Quality: We take pride in our output, and you take pride in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and safely. High-Speed, Loud Environment:  We are a manufacturing facility with multiple loud pieces of machinery. Some areas of the plant get very warm in the summer. Hard work:  Each day you'll be bending, lifting, stooping to repair equipment. You will investigate the cause of line downtime and implement a fix. This can include replacing sensors, contacts, motors, and drives. You'll work with PLC equipment, run power and ethernet lines, and troubleshoot high-voltage equipment. You are responsible for keeping your equipment in safe, usable condition and your area safe and tidy at all times. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required  Read, develop, and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data Experience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, primarily in PLC motor controls and electrical equipment Perform PLC programming & diagnostics on various systems and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as relays, contactors, overloads, timers, photodetection & proximity switches or light curtains Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Control Systems - legacy and current systems Experience with Fanuc a plus Strong problem-solving skills Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus Good verbal and written communication skills Good mathematical and organizational skills Good interpersonal skills Must be willing to occasionally work multiple shifts when necessary Do you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
