Job Summary This part time Office Coordinators role, is to administratively support the Garden City, NY headquarters, which involves performing a variety of administrative and office activities associated with the operation of the business.*****Arrange, help prepare (if need be) and distribute meeting materials for all department related meetings including committee, board and shareholder meetingsOffice responsibilities include cleaning, ordering / stocking supplies, tracking inventory (technology), receiving deliveries, shipping and distributing mailOrganize and order catering for meetingsProcess monthly expense reports for purchased itemsServe as a liaison to outside vendors, including hotels, caterers, etcMaintains a neat and safe work areaPerforms other duties as assignedAdditional DutiesMay perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.Education/Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma3 years of experience working in a professional office settingShipping / Receiving / Inventory Control experience neededRequired Skills / LicensesNY State Driver's License (and vehicle)High attention to detail, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in daily work and other projects.Experience in shipping applications (FedEx, UPS, etc), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project PlanExperience with general office equipmentExcellent organization skills.Possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlinesAbility to be detail-oriented and self-motivatedStrong communication skills and customer service focusAbility to identify problems and recommend solutionsAbility to establish and maintain effective/positive working relationships with management, staff and others.Willingness to perform all duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
