Job ***** Vice President of Planning and Inventory Management ***** Hicksville, NY - preferred 5 days on siteNot open to relocation at this time***** 200k+ depending on experience, plus other offerings including bonus **Develop a dynamic forecast and inventory projection tool to improve analytical agility and reporting capabilitiesImplement a weekly PSI plan review and monthly SIOP process across the organizationEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting mechanisms to track and measure inventory performanceCollaborate with the commercial organization to analyze sales data, market trends, historical information, and statistical data to create inventory forecastsDevelop and execute inventory performance strategies to help the team identify risks/opportunitiesDrive inventory optimization initiatives, including assortment rationalization, markdown management, and replenishment strategiesContinuously evaluate and optimize inventory processes, systems, and tools to enhance operational effectiveness and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that inventory, planning, and allocation processes are integrated and aligned with business goalsReview, update and modernize inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure accurate and timely inventory managementEvaluate and implement software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventoryCommunicate and regularly monitor the purchase plans with team of buyers**Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field, MBA or Masters Degree preferred10+ years of experience in inventory & distribution planning, inventory management, operations, buying/procurement, and/or logistics/distributionAPICS CPIM Certified preferredStrong analytical skills and experience working with data modelingProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and inventory management softwareSolid understanding of inventory planning concepts, demand forecasting techniques, and inventory optimization strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at various levelsThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $200,000 to $225,000 DOE and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401k+match and PTO.
