Part-time, 2-3 days per week (flexible to accommodate class schedules) With possibility for more days over the summer. Our team is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and the nurturing of young talent entering the fashion field.Internship Responsibilities:- Assist in the design and conceptualization of new JUNIORS collections.- Participate in market research to identify upcoming fashion trends and consumer preferences.- Collaborate with the design team to develop mood boards and color stories for upcoming seasons.- Provide support in creating technical sketches and garment specifications.- Assist with fabric and trim selections.- Attend fittings and provide feedback on garment construction and design adjustments.- Contribute to the creation of presentation materials for internal reviews.- Perform administrative duties as needed to support the design team.**- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, and understanding of fashion trends.- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Keen attention to detail and an eye for color, texture, and pattern.- A passion for JUNIORS and an understanding of the Rare Editions brand aesthetic.Benefits:- Gain invaluable experience working alongside seasoned professionals in the fashion industry.- Develop a wide range of skills in fashion design, from concept to production.- Flexible schedule to accommodate your academic commitments.- Be part of a creative and supportive team environment.- Opportunity to have your designs featured in future Rare Editions collections.Rare Editions is an equal opportunity employer.
