Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex or original designs which require a high degree of precision using computer-aided drafting (CAD) or computer-aided engineering (CAE) equipment. Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers and technicians sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions. Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures.This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job should possess a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based. The knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines. This job typically requires a minimum of 3 or more years experience.Requirements: Strong basic skills in Solidworks or in other similar parametric 3D solid modeling package (Creo, Inventor, etc). Capable of coping in a fast multi-tasking-stressful environment. Strong knowledge of windows operating system, open, save files. Onsite only Desired requirements: CAM programming skills such MasterCAM, SurfCAM, or similar program would, definitely, put candidate on top of the line Medical Device and cGMP experience. Familiarity with Scanners: 3D Peel, Keyence, or other similar data acquisition cameras. Prior experience working in manufacturing Candidate will also be trained on CAM programming and Scanning.Required Education: 2-5 years of direct industrial experience or As, BS in engineering, technology, other technical field (recent graduates, who wish to start building their industrial experience are encourage to apply) or a combination there of.
