Our client, in the Trucking and Transportation industry, is seeking a Claims Manager, responsible for overseeing all insurance claims and the Workers Compensation program. Youll be the expert and main contact for claims throughout their lifecycle, aiming to control costs and resolve issues promptly.Responsibilities:Handle property damage, bodily injury, workers compensation, and cargo claims, including communication, documentation, negotiation, and settlement.Coordinate with independent adjusters, TPAs, claimants, and attorneys to ensure proper claims resolution.Collaborate with partners to minimize exposure, cost, and liability.Investigate vehicle accidents and workplace injuries, providing recommendations on cause and preventability.Maintain comprehensive claim records and related documentation.Facilitate the timely return of injured drivers to work and manage light duty programs.Maintain OSHA logs and manage workplace injury reporting.Support operational teams in driver safety, injury prevention, and regulatory compliance.Oversee the IC Insurance process for drivers, including coverage and contract management.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:5+ years of claims management experience.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.Experience in claims litigation, negotiation, and settlement.Knowledge of commercial vehicle claim coverages.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective negotiation skills and detail-oriented.Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, or a related field preferred but not required.
