A health services system on Long Island is looking to add a licensed, experienced Physician to join their growing team as their new System Director of Stroke.About the ********** Monday to Friday***** Standard business***** The System Director of Stroke **Earn the trust and confidence of the regional players and hospital leaders, administrators at each ambulatory location, physicians and staff throughout the health system Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols, educational seminars, metrics, outcome measures and process improvement initiativesDevelop interdisciplinary collaborations within the area to expand and enhance research programs, with an emphasis on expanding access to clinical trialsPerform other duties, as neededMD or DO degree from an accredited College of MedicineBoard Certified in Neurology and Cerebro-Vascular DiseaseMust be licensed as a physician in the State of New YorkProven leadership experience with a minimum of 10 years of experienceStrong administrative and academic skillsAbility to build and lead a teamDesired ***Nationally recognized Stroke Expert and Researcher
