If you are ready to take the next step in your career working with a team of passionate and talented people, then take a look at the job opportunity below to POWER your career!The System Validation Engineer will lead validation of AOS multiphase DC/DC solution (Controllers and Smart Power Stages.)Primary Job Responsibilities:Define methodology for automated validation and drive development of PCB needed for the task.Use scripting language such as python to fully automate validation suite using bench top equipment and off the shelf components.Define fully embedded test suite using FGPA/Microcontroller for randomized tests.Work closely with design team to come up with test vector to ensure maximum test coverage.Create and maintain validation plans.Own bug tracking system and drive a periodic meeting with cross function team to uncover root cause.Work closely with the cross functional team to lock down datasheet electrical specification and lead ATE vs Bench correlation task.Qualifications:Experience and knowledge of DC-DC controllers and architecturesExperience with PCB design tool such as OrCAD and AllegroExperience with Python for automation of common bench top equipment's such as oscilloscope, Function generator, power supply, E-load, Dynamic Load, DMMs, and Network analyzersStrong understanding of how DrMOS and SPS operate in close loop system with multi-phase controllersUnderstanding of control loop tuning for transient and frequency is a plusUnderstanding of Power MOSFET operation and package parasitic is a strong plusAt least 5 years of experience in validation of DC/DC power converters.
