Role: Electrical Engineer- JourneymanLocation: Onsite in either Chester, CA or Lakeview, OR with relocation assistance Salary: $80-150k DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls to design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for our manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, HMI design, and instrumentation controls, with an emphasis on improving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop PLC and HMI systems for various manufacturing applications.Implement electrical control systems and ensure they meet project specifications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.Conduct system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance.Prepare and maintain project documentation including schematics, layouts, and technical reports.Provide training and support to maintenance staff on electrical systems and controls.Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes.QualificationsMust have an Oregon Electrical License, Plant Manufacturing Journey, General Journey License, or Oregon Electrical Supervisors License Proven experience with PLC programming and HMI design.Electrical experience with 120V/240V, to 480V 3-phase.Strong knowledge of electrical control and instrumentation systems.Familiarity with AutoCAD and CAD for designing electrical layouts.Experience with SQL and CMMS is a plus.Knowledge of discrete and analog controls is desirable.Oregon Electrical License and/or Oregon Electrical Supervisor certification is preferred.Experience in plant manufacturing and general journey license is an asset.Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems, as well as Ethernet networking. Travel about 50% of time but home on weekends.
