A DAY IN THE LIFE:Work closely with Project Managers to prepare billings to owners.Process all overhead and job cost invoices throughout the month. Work on a daily basis with the vendors and subcontractors on issues with billing and payments.Responsible for collecting, logging and verifying all required lien waivers from Subcontractors and their suppliers for every payout are received and submitted to Project Owners as required.Reconcile and close accounts payable and accounts receivable on a monthly basis and assist in the monthly cash reconciliation process. Maintain and prepare the monthly collection reports. Work on a variety of miscellaneous issues delegated from the controller. Respond to requests for information and analysis from the Project Managers on various job cost and subcontractor issues. Develop and maintain positive relations with Subcontractors and Project Managers. NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma required5-15 years of accounting experience preferred; Construction accounting experience considered a plus.Viewpoint software experience a plus.Must possess effective communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.Able to work effectively under deadlines and high pressure.Ability to work with and build relationships with a wide variety of people.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
