SUMMARY: The HR Payroll/Benefits Administrator is responsible for performing critical Human Resources functions by making sure benefits are accurately processed and maintained and that all employees are paid timely and accurately by managing payroll preparation; completing payroll reporting; maintaining payroll records; and monitoring payroll taxes and liabilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.Manage and guarantee accurate biweekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes consistent with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.Ensure the integrity of payroll system and reporting by maintaining accurate data on the current employee base including wages, benefits, and PTO time, exemptions, insurance deductions, job titles, and departments.Provide payroll system reports to management as needed. Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations are accurate and timely.Manage regular preparation of relevant payroll & benefits reports, integration, and funding the bi-weekly Health Savings Account and 401K employee and employer contributions.Assist with payroll and timekeeping training for new employees and managers.Answer employee questions and requests for information regarding payroll & benefits.Assists employees with benefits enrollment and general benefits questions.Administer and maintain all benefit plans including 401K plan, medical, dental and all ancillary plans. This includes managing eligibility, enrollment, and terminations. Timely organize and host new hire and companywide benefit open enrollment meetings to eligible employees throughout the year.Manage the data entry of all employee benefits (i.e. health insurance, dental insurance, flex spending accounts, etc.) into various systems and reports.Act as liaison between employees, the company, and benefit providers, handling vendor communications and approving related invoicing.Process employee requests for benefits, such as 401(k), Short Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD).Maintain highest level of confidentiality to protect employee and company information.Support HR operations by answering employee queries, processing employment verifications, maintaining employee records, and enforce our policies and procedures. MISCELLANEOUS DUTIESSpecial Projects Assist in company wide activities associated with the department.
